Information we collect

When you place an order, create an account, add a gift message or order note, or contact us, we may collect information such as your name, email address, billing and shipping address, phone number if provided, order details, account details, customer service messages, and the content you choose to submit.

Payments

Payments are processed by the payment methods available at checkout, such as PayPal. Payment providers receive the information needed to authorize and process the transaction under their own terms and privacy notices. We do not intentionally store full payment card details on this website.

Necessary cookies and site settings

We use necessary cookies and similar technologies to keep the shopping cart, checkout, account, language preferences and security features working. We use Complianz to display the consent banner and remember your choices. See our Cookie Policy for the current service and cookie list.

Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), installed through Site Kit by Google, to understand how visitors find and use the store and to improve the shopping experience. Depending on your consent choices, this may include page views, session and interaction information, add-to-cart and purchase events, order value and product information, approximate location, and browser or device information. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, postal addresses, payment details or other directly identifying customer information to Google Analytics.

When analytics consent is granted, GA4 may set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_*. Their default expiration is up to two years, subject to browser limits, our configuration, earlier deletion, or withdrawal of consent. This cookie expiration is separate from the retention period configured for Analytics reports.

Consent choices and Google Consent Mode

Site Kit’s Google Consent Mode communicates your consent choices to Google tags. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics and advertising-related storage are denied by default until a choice is made. If analytics storage remains denied, GA4 does not store its client identifier cookie. Our current implementation may still send Google limited cookieless signals, such as consent status and technical page-request information, for aggregate measurement and modelling. You may accept, deny or change optional categories at any time using the “Manage consent” control.

Google Search Console and Site Kit

Authorized site administrators use Site Kit to connect this WordPress site to Google Analytics, Search Console and PageSpeed Insights and to view reports. Search Console helps us understand indexing and performance in Google Search, including impressions, clicks, search queries and pages. Our current Search Console connection does not place a separate visitor-tracking cookie on the public storefront.

How we use information

• To process orders, payments, gift messages and shipping updates.

• To operate, secure and improve the store.
• To measure store and search performance where permitted.
• To comply with applicable legal, tax and platform requirements.

Sharing information

We share information only as needed to operate the store, fulfil orders, meet legal obligations, or use services you choose. Recipients may include payment providers, shipping carriers, hosting and security providers, WooCommerce and WordPress service providers, Google for the analytics services described above, and professional or public authorities where legally required. We do not sell customer contact or order information.

International processing

Some service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, the provider or Jiayue Shop uses the contractual and legal safeguards applicable to that transfer.

How long we keep information

We keep order, account, support and technical records only for as long as reasonably needed for fulfilment, customer service, security, accounting, tax and legal purposes. Different providers may apply their own retention settings. We do not state a fixed GA4 report-retention period here because it is controlled separately in the Analytics account.

Your choices and rights

You can change optional cookie choices using the “Manage consent” control. Depending on the law that applies to you, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. Information collected through Google Analytics is transmitted to and processed by Google under Google’s applicable terms and privacy documentation and may be processed in countries other than your own.
