How to Apply
No skills needed — truly. You’ll be done in about a minute.
Iron-on · 3 steps
- Place it. Position your patch where you want it. Take a second — this is the fun part.
- Press it. Cover with a thin cloth (a tea towel or pillowcase works). Press a dry iron (no steam, cotton setting ~150°C / 300°F) firmly on top for 15–20 seconds. Don’t slide the iron — just press.
- Let it cool. Hands off for a minute or two while the glue sets. Then flip the item inside out and press the back for another 10 seconds for a stronger bond.
Make it last longer
- Wash inside out, cool water, gentle cycle. Air dry when possible.
- For bags and heavy-use items, add a few stitches around the edge — it makes the patch basically permanent.
- Skip the tumble dryer and direct high heat after applying — gentle care keeps the glue strong.
Where it works
Great on: cotton, denim, canvas, linen — totes, jackets, caps, pencil cases, jeans.
Skip: nylon and waterproof coatings don’t take iron-on glue well — stitch the patch on instead (a few stitches around the edge is all it takes).
